The Systematic Index of SUD Innovation

§ 1 — ScopeCompanies and programmes worldwide whose primary therapeutic, behavioural, or harm-reduction target is a substance use disorder or recognised behavioural addiction.

§ 2 — MethodEach record is produced by automated retrieval from primary sources followed by structured extraction; unverifiable claims are nulled rather than imputed.

§ 3 — LimitationsCoverage is denser in Anglophone and DACH markets. Funding figures lag private disclosures. Scores are heuristic and intended for triage, not investment decisions.

Filters
The index counts only organisations with an addiction-specific indication, product line, or programme. Adjacent entries — general mental-health, telehealth, and research infrastructure without such a programme — are excluded from ranking and from all analyses.
